About the Role

Orange PreOwned Motors Inc. in Saskatoon, SK is hiring a driven and energetic Store Manager to lead daily dealership operations. You'll take ownership of Sales, Operations, Administration, Marketing, and Inventory while working directly with the General Manager. Responsibilities

Sales
  • Lead all customer sales activities, from inquiry to delivery
  • Close deals, achieve targets, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Support the General Manager in setting pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies

Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day dealership administration and documentation
  • Manage inventory records and vendor coordination
  • Assist with finance paperwork and approvals
  • Manage vehicle inventory records and documentation
  • Handle parts sourcing, ordering, returns, and vendor relationships

Marketing

  • Execute dealership marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Create and manage Facebook vehicle listings and social media marketing
  • Generate online leads and drive showroom traffic
  • Maintain and enhance the dealership's online presence

Operations & Service

  • Supervise automotive technicians and detailers
  • Oversee vehicle inspections, reconditioning, and quality control
  • Ensure smooth service workflow
  • Manage inventory flow from acquisition to retail readiness

Qualifications

Required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong sales experience (required)
  • Previous leadership or team management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
  • Automotive industry knowledge
  • Experience in a dealership setting
  • Familiarity with DMS or CRM systems

Compensation

$32,000 to $65,000 (Base + Commission)

Schedule

  • Tuesday to Saturday
  • Sales by Appointment on Mondays

Duties include:

Perform quality inspections of vehicles and repair them when necessary.

Automotive troubleshooting and perform general repairs for all vehicles on site.
Diagnose troubleshoot and perform mechanical adjustments.

Diagnose and repair Check Engine Lights.

Order repair parts as instructed and perform designated repairs (i.e. replace brake pads, rotors, radiators, gaskets, water pump, hoses, plugs, wires, distributor cap, switches, mirrors, knobs, tires, etc.).

Perform inspections on vehicles less than 10 years old for damage, missing parts, mechanical problems, etc.

Estimate repair costs and diagnose problems.

The ability to change transmissions and engines, however it is a big plus.

Perform minor electrical repairs is a big plus (i.e. electrical components, power windows, power, mirrors, door locks, etc.)

In addition to the tasks listed above, perform any other duties assigned by your manager or supervisor.

Salary: $20.50-$27.50 per hour

  • Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles to meet quality standards.

Lot Management:
  • Organize and maintain the vehicle lot for easy access and efficient operations.
  • Ensure vehicles are arranged in an orderly and presentable manner.
Vehicle Capture:
  • Utilize photography skills to capture high-quality images of each vehicle after detailing.
  • Ensure that images showcase the vehicles' cleanliness and overall condition.
  • Responsible for posting these images online to enhance the online presence of our inventory.
Running Around Town and Moving Vehicles:
  • Transport vehicles & parts to and from various locations as needed.
  • Ensure timely and safe movement of vehicles.
Keeping the Lot Sharp:
  • Regularly inspect the lot for cleanliness and organization.
  • Implement improvements to enhance the overall appearance of the lot.
Keep All Vehicles Clean at All Times:
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of vehicles on the lot.
  • Address immediate cleaning needs to uphold quality standards.
  • Vacuum and wipe down vehicle after each test drive as needed.
Training is Provided:
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance detailing skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Follow established processes and procedures to deliver consistent results.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.

The Mission

We are looking for a high-energy individual to serve as the "engine" of our daily operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our Store Manager and our Technicians. Your goal is to eliminate downtime by ensuring vehicles are where they need to be and parts are ready before a wrench even turns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Transport: Drive vehicles to and from local partners, including glass shops, tire shops, and SGI inspection sites.
  • Customer Shuttle: Provide professional pick-up and drop-off services for our customers as needed.
  • Service Prep: Line up specific vehicles and parts for technicians on a "job-by-job" basis to ensure maximum shop efficiency.
  • Parts Management: Handle parts sourcing, ordering, and returns using our internal dealership and service management software.
  • Yard & Key Management: Keep the lot organized for easy access and professional presentation; manage and track all vehicle keys.
  • Vehicle Readiness: Perform "running around" duties including boosting batteries, fueling units, and taking vehicles for car washes.
  • Administration: Assist the Store Manager with dealership documentation and paperwork as required.
  • Customer Support: Provide basic assistance to customers on-site as a backup to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

  • Driver’s License: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record is mandatory for moving units and transporting customers.
  • High Energy: This is a physically active role that requires being on your feet and moving vehicles throughout the day.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep a clean, efficient workspace.
  • Technology: Ability to learn and use internal dealership management and service software.
  • Attitude: No prior experience is required; we provide the training if you provide the work ethic.
